With the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and even Jupiter shifting signs and two planets turning retrograde this month, this is going to change the dynamics of the year itself. Especially Jupiter, for his presence is going to not just see the focus shift but this will lock it in for the next 13 months while changing the dynamics of the solar spotlight itself. The month begins with Jupiter in the final months of a 12 month visit to a playful and creative part of your chart. As the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of May here, the solar spotlight is always on matters of the heart and all things fun, playful, romantic and creative at this time each year.
With Venus, the planet of love having just returned at the end of April and with the asteroid Juno in her first full month back in direct motion in an adventurous part of your chart, this is putting a lot of focus on the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence. However, there is a shift coming and it is set to have major implications across the income, work and career fronts. The seeds for this will be sown when Pluto turns retrograde in your income sector on 3rd May, something that may put the brakes on income matters but it will all make sense later. As an already slow planet, this will lock the planet of change and transformation into position for the rest of the month.
This means that when the Sun returns to your work sector on 21st May, Venus on 24th May and Jupiter two days later to begin your biggest year for job growth and expansion in over a decade on 26th May, they will all move into a friendly aspect to Pluto. Along with the South Node, which will spend the rest of 2024 in your career sector, this is the start of a partnership that will prevail for the rest of the year and in the case of Jupiter and Pluto, through to June 2025. Love & Romance
Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of May in your romantic sector, the solar spotlight is always on matters of the heart at this time each year. By the time the Sun returned last year Venus, the planet of love had already moved through and while she left you with your romantic desires and expectations updated and having already set the spirit of romance alight, without having any direct impact. That includes not being here when Jupiter returned in May 2023 to begin your luckiest year for love, matters of the heart and all things fun, playful, romantic and creative in over a decade. This is one month where you can't judge a book by its cover, for while the shift won't come until later in the month, when it does it will change the whole dynamics of this professional year. So far, apart from having the South Node in your career sector, there has been no planetary activity in either of your two professional houses this year, as you would expect in the early part of each year. It has been 18 years since the South Node was last in your career sector and here all year, this is giving you a sense of professional direction while at the same time working with the North Node to police the right work/life balance. It was also having the South Node here that turned an ordinary Full Moon in late March into a lunar eclipse.However, part from when the Moon moves through, which it will do from 18th May to 21st May, the South Node is largely in the background, with his influence going unnoticed.
